Friendship Learning Center at Lucas Ferry

Friendship Learning Center is an outreach and education ministry of Friendship Church. Our mission is to provide a loving Christian environment that encourages growth in the heart, mind, body and spirit of each individual child.

Under the guidance of loving adults, our program strives to meet children where they are — socially, physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally — to help foster their growth. This is accomplished by providing a balance of play, exploration and teacher directed activities.

As a center we strive to partner with parents to equip their children with foundational skills for life. We want to give children the opportunity to develop a healthy self-concept and a positive feeling of trust with God and others.

Our educational goals are to give children opportunities for self expression and exploration through various media: Bible stories, art/creativity, blocks, cooking, dramatic play, language, music, manipulatives,, math, science, and fine/gross motor activities. This is implemented by our trained staff using a STEM, First Look, and themed curriculums.

We provide a full day program for children six weeks to five-years-old.  Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30am until 6:00pm. Our calendar year runs August through August with registration taking place in March.
