Have you been looking for a way to experience life in community? At Friendship, we believe that everyone needs a group to share life with; we call these groups LifeGroups. Our LifeGroups are more than just clubs or classes; they meet with a four-fold purpose of fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and service to encourage lasting friendships and spiritual growth. We believe that LifeGroups are the very best environment for growing as a disciple of Christ.

Why LifeGroups?

Community is a theme that runs throughout Scripture. God has always been calling out a people for Himself, beginning with Israel and continuing with the church. Jesus modeled small groups with His twelve disciples (Mark 3:14; Luke 6:12-19). Small groups were an integral part of the early church structure. These groups were small enough to allow individual members to minister to one another, use their spiritual gifts, and be discipled in the teachings of Christ. They not only built up the church but also were vehicles for reaching others with the message of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:42-47 provides the clearest picture of all for what God intends for His Church.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles‘ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42).
