Celebrate Recovery
"Celebrate Recovery is the clearest expression of the Church in action in America today!" - Rick Warren Our society is becoming more and more complex. Kids now have three (or more) sets of grandparents. Sexual addiction for men and women is growing at an exponential rate. Divorce is at an all time high- even for Christians. This is our reality.
The PURPOSE of Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process, developing them for ministry and helping them to establish a life mission in the world.
Celebrate Recovery's focus is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through Eight Recovery Principles and the Christ Centered Twelve Steps. This spiritual pilgrimage can be a way out of self-destructive behavior, as a laboratory in which to learn new behavior and as a way to establish a closer relationship with God. When the recovery principles and steps are used in conjunction with share groups, they provide an opportunity to experience feelings, talk openly with others, enjoy life one day at a time and develop healthy relationships. Meeting together in a group can be a powerful and transforming process. Loneliness diminishes as friendships among group members develop. Individuals can learn to be close to others by giving as well as receiving comfort and support.
This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ.
Is Celebrate Recovery for ME?
The biggest misconception in the church and the community about Celebrate Recovery is that it is only for chemical addicts. Celebrate Recovery is for anyone who is seeking to be closer to God and to those they love. If you have a hurt, habit, or hang-up, it’s for you.
Ask yourself these questions:
Is there a habit, substance or compulsion dominating my life?
Is there an addiction that has become destructive?
Am I being controlled by something that is blocking me from experiencing joy in my life?
Am I a fixer? Is my life completely engulfed by someone else's drama, addictions or habits?
Is a past abuse in my life preventing me from being able to move forward?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we urge you to attend a Celebrate Recovery meeting and see if you find it to be a safe place to start healing!

Celebrate Recovery Step Studies
Step study groups meet on different days or nights throughout the week. In these gender specific, closed step study groups the real work of recovery takes place. Have you ever felt discouraged and believed that changing some things in your life was impossible? We have a saying in recovery, "Don't leave before the miracle"and our step study participants are seeing their miracles happen each year. Things worth having are worth working for. We learn how to apply the steps to our life and our relationships, i.e. “work the steps” and we stick it out long enough to see the real change occur. It doesn't happen over night! Recovery is a process and change takes effort and time. Using the four Celebrate Recovery participant's guides as well as the Celebrate Recovery Bible and journal (optional) you commit to meeting with your group once per week for two hours and you will see the change that you thought impossible!
We currently have 5 Step Study groups open for you to chose from!
Join now as these groups will close to new participants when they begin Step 4.
